Windowsill 03:35
... Now that the curtains have drawn, I see clearly through the window... And if it makes you feel much better, There's no place with such fine weather- Than when you and I are together, I tell you everyday, but you say that it's okay, It's okay... If I try real hard, I can see over the hills... But where's my sense of direction? It's neither here nor there, But I don't really care.

These Days 03:11
What a strange feeling after all of this time, Just skipping rocks in the depths of my mind... Getting nickels on the dime, Robbing my arch of its climb - it Makes no difference to me. Until I get too far away, And hindsight starts to work "hooray" You got a clear head - you should use it, You got - good thoughts don't lose it You rest too much to change those closed eyes cannot see. Can you always count on me? "hmmm" But it seems to want to stay forever, Effect every deep rooted endeavor, Just wait til I can stand straight... Dead leaves stuff my gutter, Just waiting for the rain to come... And I'm just not in the best shape I've been in, In a long time.

It's late, A mind to find it's weight- amidst the fall, of it all... And I don't need to- But I still do see ghosts, In my room... If you need me, I'm not too far away, I can see you in my hallway, Just ask.

Oh no, I'm having those dreams again. The ones where - I fall asleep and then, I never wake up... But I'm glad to say dear, That things are getting rather clear. So, I learned to find my way, I learned that what you say Ain't always what you mean. Ooooo and this dream That we're passing through Ain't supposed to make us blue What a broken machine. Oh no, I'm having those dreams again. The ones where - I lose my mind and then, There's no living up. So, I learned to find my way, I learned that what you say Ain't always what you mean. Ooooo and this dream That we're passing through Ain't supposed to make us blue What a broken machine.

Just below the canopy, I see - twinkling lights like diamonds. Lapis skies like vaults behind them, Such a perfect feeling to find them And remind him, He should never change. I never could quite grasp how the world Passes me by - I could give my greatest try, But I'd... Just be all that much closer to the day I die, And I just don't know how to look you in the eye and say that nothing matters still.

The day gave rise to a look in his eyes. He was lost in a dream with no way to disguise The feelings on his sleeves that'd rise and fall with the breeze, Caught somewhere in between a laugh and a stream- Of thought. A stream of thought- That races up the banks... Of our necks Removing the breaks and what comes next... I don't know. I don't know- Just where I'll go, or who.. I will grow into I'm just tracing silhouettes pretending they're me... And I just don't know, How this whole thing will end... But you hand me a drink and you say, It's not the destination It's living here today... Okay. Now everywhere that he goes, He knows. Now everything that he shows, It glows. And since night has all turned to day, He's okay. Since the clouds have all part their way, He just says "What a wonderful day to start over a new" A better view to see all of the things he knew, He knew, oh he knew.

And if you fall asleep in fields of lavender, Always remember all here is temporarily Held in thought like some big cloud in- An old cartoon. And if you take me there and we don't ever care about where we'll go, And use our imaginations to end up on top Of some bent slanted plot that concerns us none. Will it gleam like an eye-wide dream When it glistens past these old familiar streams Of thought that got you here where you stand today, It's all okay, it's all okay. This I know, this I know to be a dream. "What if it weren't a dream" This I know, this I know to be a dream. Where'd you go? "Where did you go?" Where'd you go? ooooh "Lavender Always"

Something's in my head these trees didn't turn this year, There must be something in the air. I wanna new home and to rest in a new bed, A place where I could go to and no one would know who I am... Is this all because of love? Or lack thereof? Something's eating my head I think that I'd Like to look at the world like I used to. I don't know what to tell my brain when you "pop up" In conversation... I say, "That's Just the Way it Goes" That's just the way that it goes, No one knows... Why shit happens, things die- And why we still try to float, The sinking sea. God help me, And all my closest friends "Alright"

I know it's hard to think, But if you still love me would you fill in the blank? What will we do today, If you don't say what you need to say? Will I look up at the sky and still know That you left me an open window? A new moon and a new tide roaring to shore, No confidence in the person that I was before. And after all, those things you said Still ring in and out of my head. If I ever find that latch I'll let you know, If I open up my window. And when I fall asleep, Out my window I will go. In your dreams we will meet, And I'll let you know... All those things that you said, Have turned to poison in my head.

about

This album is about moments between moments, pulsating thoughts, and fleeting feelings.

"When the world reflects back at me in such a way, I feel certain that these eyes are merely windows."

Be kind.
